About project Big Deal
The project deals with the client – architect relationship on the background of their first big contract. Opinions and status of young Czech architects unburdened by recent past, communism and the revolution were inquired into by means of a documentary film. Architectural debuts represent very impressive creative manifestations by individual authors. Only time will tell, though, whether and how the “Big Deal generation” will be able to stand the test – whether they will walk the path of providing service, stressing the maximum amount of metres built, or the path of architects-thinkers who form ideas of society.
